Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit a number of Competent Structural Examiners / Assessors to undertake examination and inspection work on rail related structures.
Competent Structural Examiners / Assessors are required to undertake examination and inspection work on rail related structures. This will involve undertaking monitoring, recording of defects and certifying that the examination has been carried out.
Bridge Inspector Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 1 year experience examining bridge structures (detailed examinations and visual
examinations)
* Experience of identifying concrete, steel and masonry defects, testing and repair / protection
techniques
* Working knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
* STE 4 rail structures examination competence
* Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificate
* Highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision
* Good communication skills especially in dealing with clients and partners
* Good team-working skills
* IT literate (Word, Excel etc.)
* Good report writing skills
* UK Driving License
