Permanent Assistant Site Manager
Job Description
A nationally recognised developer is currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a landmark rail based project in the south east of London.
The Assistant Site Manager, reporting to the No 1 Site Manager, will ensure that all heavy civils aspects are completed to design and standard, mainly the completion of the station box, but also including all ground works, platform construction, bridges, and aspects of tunnelling. The Assistant Site Manager will also be responsible for implementing Health & Safety on site.
To be considered for this position, it is vital the Assistant Site Manager has a solid background in heavy civil engineering, ideally with a nationally recognised civil engineering contractor. It is preferable that some of this experience has been gained within a rail environment, again with a large, main contractor. An excellent knowledge of H&S regulations is also required.
