			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My client, at the forefront of the Rail industry, are consistently developing and surpassing current industry standards. Due to continued commercial growth and success they are currently recruiting for a &#8216;Telecommunications Project Engineer&#8217;, based in London, Euston, on a contract basis.</p>
<p>With previous experience in the field your main duties will to support the implementation of the telecommunications systems/network required to support re-signalling or signalling re-control project within the mainline rail industry and to undertake the management of sub-contractors who will be providing the telecommunications systems for the project.</p>
<p>To complement the above you will be acting as Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) for the telecommunications discipline in accordance with the CDM regulations, and working as part of a bid team on tenders received from the client, including the production of Sub-Contract Specifications.</p>
<p>You will undertake the management of sub-contractors who will be providing the telecommunications systems for the project. This will include all elements, such as holding monthly progress meetings, undertaking the reviews of safety documentation and designs.</p>
<p>Undertake site surveys and produce survey reports for submission to the client, and take part in interdisciplinary checks (IDC) on behalf of the telecommunications discipline.</p>
<p>You will be part of multidisciplinary team, undertaking GRIP 1- 4 processes.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will ideally have the following;<br />
*Personnel Track Safety (PTS)<br />
*Individual Working Alone (IWA) or Controller of Site Safety (COSS)<br />
*Certificates and a very good understanding of railway telecommunications systems and networks<br />
*IRSE Telecommunications Project Engineers License.</p>
<p>This contract will run for a minimum of 10 weeks initially and for your efforts and services you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay and a stable workload in the current economic climate.</p>

<p>With previous experience in the field your main duties will be to undertake Detailed Design and Independent Checking of design details for the SSI trackside Projects, working as part of the design team and to interface to the Design Manager, in reporting progress of the works assigned for the project.</p>
<p>To complete this role it is likely that you will have knowledge of SSI line side equipment, Dorman LED signal technology and of Mixed Point machine types, and it is essential to hold IRSE License 1.1.150C/D or equivalent as a minimum.</p>
<p>Technology Requirements:</p>
<p>*SSI line side equipment knowledge (ability to check designs using DLM&#8217;s, TFM&#8217;s and LDT&#8217;s)<br />
